Who makes this site
Quick BPM Finder is built and maintained by the Quick BPM Finder Team. We made it for musicians, DJs, dancers, editors, and anyone who needs a quick tempo estimate without working through a crowded interface.
What the tool does
The tool estimates beats per minute in three ways. You can choose a local audio file, tap along with music you can hear, or let the browser listen through your microphone. The large result is easy to read and copy.
How to use it
- Open the BPM Finder and choose Audio File, Tap Tempo, or Live Mic.
- Provide a clear, steady section of music or tap evenly with the beat.
- Compare the estimate with what you hear, then use Copy BPM if the pulse matches.
What the number means
The displayed BPM is an estimate. Tempo changes, syncopated rhythms, vocal-heavy tracks, and live recordings can make automatic detection choose the wrong pulse or a half-time or double-time interpretation. We say that plainly because a useful result should include its limits.
Our privacy approach
Audio analysis runs in the visitor's browser. Selected files and live microphone audio are not uploaded to our server. Read the Privacy Policy for details or contact the team with a question.
