Audio files stay on your device
When you choose an audio file, your browser decodes and analyzes it on your device. The file is not uploaded to Quick BPM Finder or stored by us. We do not receive the file name, the recording, or the BPM result.
Microphone and Tap Tempo
Live Mic asks your browser for microphone permission only after you press Start Listening. While it is active, short audio samples are held in browser memory for local tempo analysis. They are not recorded by the site, uploaded, or saved after you stop listening or leave the page.
Tap Tempo measures the time between taps in your current browser tab. Tap times and the resulting BPM are not sent to our server or saved as a history.
Hosting and routine request data
The site is hosted by Cloudflare. Like other web hosts and security providers, Cloudflare may process routine request information such as an IP address, browser and device details, requested URLs, timestamps, and security signals to deliver and protect the site. Cloudflare handles that information under its own privacy policy.
Google Search Console is used to verify site ownership and review how pages appear in Google Search. The current tool page does not include a Google Analytics tracking script.
Cookies and local storage
The current Quick BPM Finder tool does not set its own cookies and does not use local storage to keep an account, uploaded audio, BPM results, or a listening history. Browser and hosting security features may still use technical storage where necessary to provide or protect the service.
Third-party advertising
Quick BPM Finder plans to display third-party advertising. After advertising is enabled, an advertising provider may use cookies or similar technologies to deliver and measure ads, prevent fraud, and personalize advertising where applicable law and the visitor's consent allow it.
No advertising code is active on the site at the date shown above. We will update this policy when an advertising provider is added and provide any consent choices required for its use.
Your choices
You can use Audio File or Tap Tempo without granting microphone access. You can deny or withdraw microphone permission in your browser. You can also leave the site at any time; the tool does not require an account.
